What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
I just wish the kid understood the game. He just watches the ball and pisses himself when it goes in the air.

No lie, I was at the Appy/CW game early and the boy does have one of the nicest spirals I've ever seen. He was chucking it before the game, of course when some other kids came over and asked to play pitch up and tackle he left.

Also a very stupid question coming from me, but one that I've been meaning to ask for a pretty good while:
Just curious but when you watch a tape for a high school game (regardless of what year), do you actually get the commentary with it (such as what you see on the local channels) or is it just silent so that you can focus entirely on what is happening on the field?
I'm assuming there aren't any special introductions or highlight reels anyways since it's just meant to archive it and not to glorify it or make it fancy.
The main reason I've wondered about this is because it would be pretty creepy to be watching game films from the 60's and very early 70's in which you could hear people talking and knowing all to well that they're more than likely dead or REALLY old by now. Maybe it's just me and my oddness taking over, but I find things like that (knowing that someone was there THEN but may be gone NOW and hearing them speak and act, etc.) fascinating, especially for that time period when black and white was not uncommon.</div></div>
Oh god I'm rolling...to the point of tears.
I wouldn't be surprised if he prays to a picture of Tom Turner.

He's an odd cat. I really would make him a copy if I could find the thing. I've not seen it in 10 years though.

You know, a guy could make a ton of money selling DVD copies of those old games. Hell, Chubz would be worth a few hundred by himself.
